Can I cancel my order?
Yes you may, as long as the item has not been shipped. If the order has already been shipped we will still attempt to cancel the order, but cannot guarantee that the cancellation will be possible. If you do receive an order that was cancelled, accept delivery of the item and contact Dawson Aircraft, Inc. Customer Service at (877) 293-5300 for return instructions.
I cancelled my order but I haven't received a credit yet. How long do credits take?
We submit all requests for credits within 7 days of receipt. You should see this on your next credit card statement, depending on where you are in your billing cycle.
Can I return an item that is damaged, defective, or I just don't want?
Yes. Merchandise returned without authorization will be refused, and the carrier will charge you freight in both directions. To avoid a restocking charge, please return your merchandise in the original box and packing materials. Do not destroy or discard original packing for 30 days.
Are all items guaranteed?
Yes. All items are guaranteed to operate WITHIN DESCRIBED ADVERTISED MANNER, but do not carry any warranty other than to operate within the return policy guidelines. * PLEASE NOTE: Tested / Yellow-Tagged electrical parts cannot be returned.

How long will it take to receive my order?
We will ship to suit your needs in our effort to be your best aircraft parts supplier.The standard shipping time for orders shipped via FedEx ground is 1-5 days. Large items are shipped via truck, usually arrive in 4-5 days but may take up to 6-12.
Can I have an order shipped to my P.O. Box?
No. The vast majority of our merchandise is shipped via FedEx, and a valid street address is required.
Can I ship my order to a different address?
Yes. Remember to use a street address, not a Post Office Box, for any shipping address.
How are shipping charges calculated?
Shipping charges vary according to product type and destination. Most products are shipped via FedEx (because they offer package insurance and excellent tracking software). Larger items are generally shipped via common carrier, and require higher shipping rates. All products offer an express service.
May I arrange my own shipping?
In almost all cases, yes. Please have your shipping account number, or otherwise coordinate shipping at the time of purchase.
What is your return policy?
Our Return Policy: Only non-defective items returned within 10 days will be given a full refund. After 10 days there will be a 20% restocking fee. After 30 days no refund will be given. Contact Dawson Aircraft, Inc. within ten days to be given your return authorization number. Parts must be returned unaltered and in their original packaging to be eligible for any refund. Return shipping costs will be the customer's responsibility. All items are sold "as-is" as Dawson Aircraft, Inc. cannot attest to their serviceability or airworthiness. Tested electrical parts cannot be returned. Late Payment Policy: A finance charge of 18% will be accessed on late payments. |
